NOTICE OF VACANCY

North Weald Bassett Parish Council - Hastingwood Ward

Notice is hereby given that a vacancy has occurred in the office of Parish Councillor due to the death of Cllr Brian Eldridge

An election to fill the vacancy will be held if notice in writing of a request for such an election is made by ten Local Government electors from the Hastingwood Ward of North Weald Bassett Parish Council area and received by the Returning Officer of Epping Forest DC at the Civic Offices, High Street, Epping, CM16 4BZ by not later 15 May 2020. If an election is requested, it will not take place until 6 May 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions.

If an election is not requested by ten Local Government electors as detailed above, the vacancy will be filled by the Parish Council as soon as practicable after the expiry of the date given above.
