The Parish Hall at Thornwood is situated in Weald Hall Lane, Thornwood. This is the only village hall within the Parish of North Weald which is owned by the Parish Council. As such, Parishioners are able to rent this hall at reduced rates. The hall can be privately hired for parties, weddings, christenings, family events, exhibitions, etc. If you are interested in making a booking, please contact the parish Clerk at clerk@northweald-pc.gov.uk, or call 07572 507591.

PLEASE NOTE: INFLATABLES SUCH AS BOUNCY CASTLES ARE NOT PERMITTED EITHER INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE HALL.

NOTE: The minimum hire period for parties is three and a half hours (unless otherwise agreed with the Clerk).

Insurance

Casual users, or users who do not provide their own insurance, will be charged an additional 10% for insurance cover.

Use of the Playing Field

Licences for the use of the field may be agreed by negotiation with the Parish Council.
