North Weald Airfield Masterplan - Google site. Google have now submitted their application for a Data Centre on North Weald Airfield. For full details, visit Planning Application: EPF/0849/25. This planning application was considered by North Weald Bassett Parish Council on 19th May, and a full copy of the Parish Councils response to the application can be found HERE.
On 30th May 2025, another planning application for a large scale in development was received- this application being an outline planning application for a residential-led mixed-use development comprising up to 600 dwellings (Use Class C3), a care home (up to 70 beds, Use Class C2), primary school, a local centre (Use Classes E(a) and E(b)), sports facilities, Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG) and associated landscaping, infrastructure, and two access points off Rayley Lane (all modes) and Vicarage Lane (bus gate) has been submitted for the North Weald Park, Former North Weald Golf Course, in Rayley Lane, North Weald.
This planning application will be considered by the Parish Councils Planning Committee on Monday 16th June 2025.
