Thornwood Common Play Area & Playing Field is located adjacent
to the Thornwood Common Village Hall, Weald Hall Lane, Thornwood. | 
School Green Lane Play area is located directly in front of the
Queens Hall Community Centre, School Green Lane. | 
Weald Common Play Area and Playing Field is located just
behind the North Weald Village Hall.
| Bluemans End Recreational Ground can be found just off of Bluemans End, North Weald. The Parish Council have a continuous programme of maintenance and improvement for all open spaces, and are currently seeking funding opportunities to improve the facilities available at the Thornwood Common play area.
The Parish Council also has responsibility for a number of bus shelters, dog bins, Notice Boards and seats throughout the Parish.
